Not your traditional Sloppy Joe, and a heck of a lot tastier than Manwich!

can small red beans or pinto beans, drained and rinsed

INSTRUCTIONS
Break up the ground beef and brown it and the onion in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until meat is no longer pink; drain
Add the garlic and cook 5 minutes more, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the remaining ingredients, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Open up a bun and place a shaving of cheddar on the bottom half.
Scoop a half-cup of the Sloppy Joe onto the cheese, and top with another shaving of cheddar and then the top half of the bun.
Serve immediately while still warm.
Notes
If the cheese isn't melted enough you can put the sandwich in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to melt it more completely.
